City Bridge Foundation has joined Trust for London and Oak Foundation to commit funding to tackle London’s temporary accommodation (TA) crisis.

More than 60,000 households in London are homeless and living in TA. Living in TA can have damaging impacts on people’s lives.

The better temporary accommodation for Londoners programme funds projects to strengthen the voice, connections and influence of Londoners living in TA, and ultimately to improve people’s experience of TA.

The programme launched in 2022, with grants provided in the summer of that year to 11 organisations. You can find out more about the programme here.

Applicants have been invited for the second round of funding.

We’re so pleased to be able to support this programme, which will make a real difference in providing a voice for, and advocating on behalf of, the many thousands of Londoners who are currently living in temporary accommodation.
