Jeff Hayes, Chair
Jeff has over 40 years of experience in the Fund Management industry. During his period in the City he was a dealer on the London Stock Exchange, managed Fixed Income portfolios for a range of institutional clients, including Charities, Pension Funds and Friendly Societies.
In the 9 years prior to his retirement in January 2010, he was the Managing Director responsible for the Charity client base of Cazenove Capital Management. In this role he managed a team of 12 people, responsible for over 400 clients and total Charitable assets of £2.6bn.
Jeff has a number of external appointments. He is a Special Advisor to the Board of Trustees at Carer’s UK, Chair of the Board of Governors at the King’s School Ely in Cambridge, and a Co-opted Trustee on the Investment Committee at St Johns Foundation in Bath.
He has been married to Rene since 1973 and has two children. He enjoys running (completed London Marathon 2010), cycling, golf and photography.
Jeff joined Trust for London in 2010. He is Chair of Trustees, and Chair of the Asset Allocation and the Governance Committees.
