An independent evaluation of the Strategic Legal Fund for vulnerable young migrants
…the SLF has achieved concrete results and, at a time of great change, represents an important contribution to the support for disadvantaged and vulnerable young migrants in the UK. As such, it should continue and at present should not seek to change too much.
The SLF is a grants programme, co-funded by Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and managed by MigrationWork CIC, which supports strategic legal action to address disadvantage and discrimination faced by children and young people from migrant backgrounds. It specifically funds research to develop a legal challenge and interventions in existing cases.
