New Living Wage rates announced

Mayor, Sadiq Khan, today announced the new Living Wage rate for London. Reflecting a rise in inflation, especially for essentials, it has increased by 45p to £10.20 per hour.

The real Living Wage is calculated independently in relation to living costs. This is different to the mandatory National Living Wage, which is £7.50 an hour for workers aged over 25 throughout the UK.
