The Better Work Network inaugural conference

The Learning and Work Institute will host the inaugural Better Work Conference on Monday 24 June

The conference will mark a year since the launch of the Better Work Network and will focus on innovative approaches to supporting in-work progression and tackling low pay and poor quality work. 

Speakers include Trust for London Chief Executive Bharat Mehta CBE, Deputy Mayor for Social Integration Debbie Weekes-Bernard and representatives from DWP, BEIS, the Living Wage Foundation and Timewise.

Panels will focus on innovative approaches to support progression for low-paid workers and the role of employers in tackling low pay and low quality work.

The conference is free to attend, and open to policy makers, employment and skills providers, support services, civil society groups and other parties relevant to the better work agenda. 

The event will be held from 9.15 am - 1.30pm at the Human Rights Action Centre, 25 New Inn Yard, London EC2A 3EA.
