Choosing what we say and how we say it can affect how people hear us, what they understand, and how they act.
Shifting public attitudes is important as it can help to put issues on the political agenda. Creating connections with audiences to improve their understanding of an issue is powerful, but too often the messages we use do not connect with the audiences we are trying to reach.
We believe that better understanding of public attitudes on the issues we work on is vital, and we are keen to improve the framing of narratives and messages when influencing public attitudes.
