60 second overview
Tonic Living was established to enable the older LGBT+ community to have choice in housing and care services that are more supportive, safe, and culturally appropriate.
Tonic is creating the UK’s first LGBT+ retirement community that will be mixed tenure and co-produced with the community.
Trust for London funding allows for continued support for Tonic to develop the mixed tenure retirement community with a distinct LGBT+ identity. The current phase of the project aims to secure a site for the development and gain planning consent; have a full finance strategy in place, and active community engagement in the process.
Tonic Living are also representing LGBT+ housing groups on the London Housing Panel.
