The report provides an evaluation of our young men's special initiative which we developed jointly with John Lyon's Charity.

This overlooked group often experiences social exclusion. A significant number, many of them from black and minority ethnic communities, are marginalised and disaffected.

The initiative was based around two local community projects - the Refugee Advice and Support Centre in Hammersmith, and the Bengali Workers' Association in Camden.

The summary report produced by the National Institute of Adult Continuing Education (NIACE), describes the development and impact of the initiative.
