Guidance on monitoring and evaluation for small groups
(with a turnover of £60,000 or under)
We recognise that small groups may have limited capacity to undertake in-depth monitoring and evaluation. However, we want to encourage you to set up a simple monitoring and evaluation system so that you can collect relevant information and use this to assess your achievements.
Training will be offered to you soon after your funding has been agreed, and this will help you to establish a monitoring and evaluation framework.
Monitoring and evaluation requirements
Grants For One Year
You will need to send us a Final Evaluation Report at the end of your grant. Please note that further funding will be dependent on this report being submitted.
Grants For Two Or More Years
Stage One:
Mid-way through your grant, you will be expected to submit an Interim Evaluation Report. It is important that you submit this report mid-way through your grant in order to release your next payment.
We will remind you when this is due and give you three months notice to write it.
Stage Two:
You will need to send us a Final Evaluation Report at the end of your grant. Please note that further funding will be dependent on this report being submitted.
In addition, you will also need to send us a copy of your annual accounts and an annual report, if you produce one. If your grant is for more than a year, please make sure you send us your most recent accounts each year.
