New funding priorities launched
Trust for London has set out its funding priorities for the next five years. There is significant continuity from the previous priorities, with the Trust providing support for employment related activities and groups campaigning on a range of social justice issues. New developments include:
- Funding for advice work, with a particular focus on immigration and employment rights; as well as research to improve the evidence base on the value of advice; and developing new models of funding advice work.
- Support for organisations tackling violence, including work related to disability hate crime.
- Policy change and campaigning to improve housing in the capital, including work to address problems in the availability, accessibility and affordability of decent housing for low-income Londoners.
- Funding for small groups to bring different groups of people together to improve their local neighbourhood.
A full set of funding guidelines are now available to download. This document outlines the new priorities and how to apply. The Trust has introduced a new funding application form. The next closing date for applications is 8 October.
