Influencing Change - new training for campaigners

London-based campaigners are now eligible to apply for Sheila McKechnie Foundation's Influencing Change programme, run in partnership with Trust for London.

This is an introductory level course on how to gain influence and campaign for a change in public policy.

The course focuses on how local authorities, Parliament and central government make decisions, and offers information and expert advice on how to influence them. Participants will learn about developing a campaign strategy and plan, working with the media, tactically addressing issues and involving stakeholders.

This is a four-day course spread over four months and includes the opportunity for further group sessions and one-to-one coaching. Guest speakers with expertise in campaigning, tactics, media and government will provide in-depth knowledge and insider perspectives.

For more information take a look at the Influencing Change flyer, or contact Iffat Shahnaz on 020 7700 8231.

The deadline for applications is Friday 3rd September.
