Robert Hughes-Penney

Robert is a member and appointee of the City of London Corporation’s Court of Common Council and a Director of Rathbone Investment Management.
Educated at the Haberdashers’ Aske’s School, Elstree, Manchester Polytechnic and RMA Sandhurst he served as a cavalry officer for four years, before joining City stockbrokers Laurence Keen, with whom he trained. In 1995 Rathbones acquired Laurence Keen and in 2000 Robert was appointed a Fellow of the Securities Institute.
Robert lives in Buckinghamshire with his wife, Elspeth, and their three children. They are involved in a number of charitable and church activities.
