Deborah is a solicitor specialising in commercial litigation, and has been a partner in the Dispute Resolution department of city solicitors Slaughter and May since 1991.
She was educated at King David High School, Liverpool, and King's College, Cambridge. Married to another solicitor, Allan Murray-Jones, she has two teenage children. When not shouting at her children to do their homework, Deborah spends her spare time going to the theatre, running round Regent's Park and walking the dog, and is interested in art, architecture and food.

Deborah has been a Governor of the two Haberdashers' Aske's schools at Elstree since 2001 and has been a member of the Partnership Board of Slaughter and May since 2005.
